The World Rally Championship heads to South America for Rally Argentina, the only stop of the year on this beautiful continent. With three events in the books, the season has jumped out to an exciting start.
Round 4 - Rally Argentina
Rally Argentina is one of the most spectacular rallyes of the season. This one is a classic in every sense. The stages and the elements present a real challenge to the drivers with jumps, bumps and of course, the famous water splashes. This is a real test for the drivers and when things go wrong, they tend to go badly wrong.
Round 5 –Jordan Rally WRC
A new stop on the WRC schedule, Jordan features sandy gravel stages around the Dead Sea and Jordan Valley areas. This is a rally of extremes. From scorching temperatures - which can top 40 degrees C - to the awesome desert landscape the stages snake through.
Round 6 – Rally d'Italia Sardegna
Sardinia contains some of the WRC’s most challenging roads characterized by fine and sandy gravel stages that are surprisingly fast, given their tight, narrow nature. This can provide a real challenge for the drivers as they need to balance the desire to push with the need to avoid the numerous stones and rocks that litter the roadside.
